We Had a Merry Christmas!

Sarah is sneaking some olives before Christmas Day Dinner.
We were loving the 34 degree weather. It had been so cold just before Christmas that this was a great day to test out the new bikes!
OH the mess! I get a little Christmas cash each year and I had to go on the 26 and buy some new storage bins for their room. Santa never really thinks of the after math of all the gift giving.
Meg had such enthusiasm with each present. Immediately after the cheers for this 3 ds, she asked what it was. Don't worry she has figured it out and hasn't put it down since. Oh and Santa was a thinker, he brought dad one too, and daddy likes his as well.
A BIKE! It was a total surprise. All Sarah wanted for Christmas was a Baby.
This is Christmas eve, we can't wait for Santa! We are so lucky to have both of our families so close. We had a great day, BINGO with grandma Irene and dinner at grammy Pammies. We had family over for breakfast and for dinner. It makes the holidays so special. It was really nice to have both Christmas eve and Christmas day off from work this year. It probably won't happen for another 3 years.
Waiting for Christmas is really hard when you are 2 and 4. Fortunately Dad found a good place for 2 NAUGHTY little girls to have a time out. It wasn't long before the little girls shaped up and stopped misbehaving.

Gingerbread and Santa

Sarah has got some great smiles these days. Her latest obsession is pockets. It started when we (wes) started limiting the Binkie. She needed to make sure she had a pocket to stash her binkie, Thus the constant jacket wearing.

They have forgotten how to smile, now they just cheese, at least they are happy girls.

We went to Kaysville for a famiy christmas party. My mom came with us. We had a great time. We stopped at Macys to mail our letters to Santa, and well Sarah was asleep, so she didn't have her picture taken. This day would have been a perfect opportunity to go see the lights at Temple Square but, I am such a wimp when it comes to the cold, that we never go see the lights at Temple square. Instead I make Wes go to the Fantasy by the Bay in Willard, you can watch from the car.
Sarah has been paranoid of "So Claus" as she calls him. We went to the cache valley mall to see him, Sarah, in the stroller covered her eyes and told me "So Claus scare me, I hide" and put her hands over her eyes. I was pretty concerned for this party, and the obviously fake Santa who would give each a girl a small present, I really wanted a Santa picture this year. Well guess what, as soon as Sarah figured out that each kid who sat on his lap got a toy, she conqured her fears and walked righ up and even let me get a pictures.

Grandma Pammy snapped this pic of the girls as we drove to Kaysville.
This is what happens when a bottle of baby wash gets dumped in the tub with 3 girls.

Birthday, Thanksgiving and Getting ready for Christmas

Meg, Sarah and Kambry, pilgrims and Indians
Thanksgiving Turkeys
Sarah turned 2 on Thanksgiving this year. We had a Care Bear themed party, complete with a rainbow arch.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving with Grammy Pammy.
Baby dolls were the gift of choice for this little mommy, she was in heaven with each one.
If you asked Sarah what she wanted for her Birthday, she would have told you a BINKY, it was a sad day and now the Binky is officially gone. Don't get me wrong she spent 3 hours crying over not having one today, but we're working on it.
Uhhhh get off the I Phone you addict, and sing. There are 3 candles on this cake, Sarah really only turned 2, but who's counting.
Macey and Megan, getting ready to dance at the November fest.

Here is Sarah's Birthday Dinner. I made the cupcakes, they were "Dreamsicle" flavored.

Poor kid doesn't like her picture taken.

The kids broke 2 of my glass ornaments this year. That leaves me with 3 left. They are gradually being replaced by the ugly shatter proof ones.
This guy is porcelain, I can't believe he survives year after year, but he does.
I put this tree up while the girls were sleeping. It's just easier that way, I did leave off 2 ornaments for the girls to hang in the morning. They are the 2 little dolls that are front and center. Megan and Sarah decided that they would hang their dolls side by side, "like sisters."
This is the Christmas elf. Meg and I had a conversation about him. Megan thinks that he is a MAGICAL elf and can come to life. Who am I to squash her imagination? I went along with her idea, in fact I elaborated, this little elf is always watching and reports back to Santa, so you had better be good.

Halloween and other stuff!

Playing in the leaves.

This is one of our favorite indoor activities. We turn the couch into "Dog Houses" and I adopt puppies from the pound. They could play this game for hours.
Happy Halloween.

Here is our Trick-or-Treat loot. We made out like bandits. Thanks for the jammas grandma!
The first snow of the season took us off guard. Look at the trees, the leaves haven't even changed, let alone fallen off.

Play Doh, finally Sarah can participate, until this month whenever we got the Doh out she'd just eat it like candy...ewwww
Sarah and her makeup application skills.
This is Meg dressed as an Indian, no that isn't the politically correct term but when your preschool teacher has a dozen songs about Thanksgiving, pilgrims and indians, the term "Native American" doesn't substitute too well, and she looks adoreable.
Some friends of ours were cleaning out their garage and had this mini snowmobile that they were getting rid of. Wes got it running on Saturday and the girls had a great time.
Thanks for visiting.

This is our attempt at getting pictures for our Christmas cards.
It was not our best day.
