Happy Birthday and Happy Valentines Day!

Sorry that my last post was soooo depressing. Fortunatley we had February to look forward to. There are some very special days in this month. Megan's birthday and Valentines day! Meg turned 5 this year. She had seriously 5 parties. This is her combined party with Grandma Irene.
Megan's preschool teacher made this darling cake for her bithday. (Party 2)
On Meg's "real" birthday she woke up to her birthday presents, and we went rollerskating at the funpark after dad came home from work. Then we had cake with Grandma Pammy. (Party 3)

My Caketasrophy. Megan wanted a "rock star" themed part this year, so I called wal-mart and ordered one of the cakes where they turn 24 cupcakes into a guitar shape. When I went to get the cake it was just 24 cupcakes, no shape. I totally paniked. There was no time to get the cake decorator to fix her mess up so I took the cupcakes and went and grabbed some frosting. This cake is mine as Wes' efforts at our cake decorating. Look out Cake Boss. Really I am still bummed, if i wanted a homemade looking cake i would have done it myself. Sadly I am running out of trustwothy bakeries in town.......
The Friend Party (#4). Meg had 10 of her little friends from school and church come and play. We had a great time, we made braclets, baked pizzas, played musical chairs, and hit a pinata. SO why does my kid look so sad?

They were the cutest bunch of little girls.
Sarah was so sad that they broke the guitar.
ROCKSTARS! btw party #5 was a family party with Pammy and Kerry and Jason, Kristina, Heather Jenni and baby cousin Carter.
This was the best part, undecorating. I was loving the scare hair.
Sarah does have some clothes, she just chooses not to wear them.
Valentines day!
Wes and I have been together 10 years and well I thought we needed new rings. (i actually got mine back in june).
Mine the before and now!
Wes' ring was so worn out, it used to be 2 colors and have a finish on it, now it is just mutilated and scratched.

This is what the girls woke up to.
Why on earth would anyone give a 2 year old a doodle bear? Cuz the markers are washable.
Meg was drawing hearts.
Enjoy some naked baking. Aprons are ineffective at preventing stains when it comes to red velvet cupcakes, so we just bake nakey. Well not me......
