Camping

We have already had two camping trips this season. We just go up Left Hand since it is close. I really enjoy not having a phone, or internet, but still having the benefit of airconditioning and T.V. movies. Sorry I just can't totally rough it. The Girls really like all of the out door time as well. Megan has a friend when we go camping, her name is Kambry and they are so cute together. They are hanging glow bracelets on the jeep so they can have head lights. We went for a "Hike" around the campsite and Megan saw a pile of sticks in the river and called it a "beaver damn-it".I wonder where she gets these things. I feel so fortunate to have such two precious girls, they are so delightful, I don't know what I'd do without them. P.S. I think that Sarah is teething :(

Summer Fun Continued

As with summer we really enjoy outside cooking. Our favorite are S'mores. I found these GIANT marshmallows at Lee's and they are about four times the size of the regular marshmallows, they have been a huge hit, they make a big mess though. We have had a fire in our firepit and cooked tinfoil dinners, and we grill just about every night. Now that Sarah is 7 months old, she can eat meat. She already has a difficult time eating baby food when we all get to eat "real food", so we let her join in the fun on "rib night". Sarah has met all of her 7 month milestones. She sits, squeals, and loves to watch her sister. She has started to get up on all fours. Oh and things are getting better for Wes at night.

Summer Fun

We have had a busy summer so far. We are getting our feel for the outside. As I was looking back at these pictures I was thinking," my kids are so tan now." It's amazing how 2 weeks of sunshine make a big difference. We took Megan to Lagoon and drug Sarah along. The day was great. Wes took off work early on a friday, since neither of us had been to Lagoon in 15 years, we weren't sure of what to expect, but we were pleasantly surpised. The weather was not too hot and the lines (at least for the kiddie rides) were reasonable. Megan even won a stuffed animal at the baloon game and Sarah was able to ride the giant Ferris wheel.
