Sarah's Blessing

We finally blessed Sarah. So what if she is almost 6 months old. We waited so long because first it was the swine flu, then it was RSV, we didn't even go back to church until March. Then I decided to wait until the weather was nice. Guess what, it was a wonderful day and Sarah even participated in the festivities. Thank you Papa Kerry for the wonderful blessing. It was a delightful day.

sPrInG FuN

We have been having fun this spring. It has been so fun to finally go outside. On the rainy days we went to some fun places. The Kangaroo Zoo in North Salt Lake was so much fun for Megan, they had these giant inflatable jump arounds that Megan could attack and let loose some energy. There was also a Balloon Artist, and a person in a Kangaroo suit. What could be better. Sarah even got in on the fun.
Heather is such a good sport to come and play with us.

So how about my kid and her obsession with DIET COKE? She is so my kid. Yes I am one of those terrible mothers that let their kids drink Diet Coke. But on the plus side there is no tooth rotting sugar.

Sarah 4 wheeler sandwich. We just had to make sure that we had a kid who liked to ride, and sure enough we do. We can't wait to start our summer camping vacations.

Okay so I am behind, Sarah will be 5 months on the 24th, but who really wants their kid to grow faster than they already are.

Finally Moab!

At the beginning of March we went to Moab, Utah with Wes' work for a vacation. We had a great time. The kids did great in the car, we spent 6-7 hours a day in the car for 3 days in a row. The weather was nice 55-60 degrees, and Megan had Mamma Corrie and so many friends to play with. Sarah loved the up and downs of the jeep ride. The hotel had a hot tub and that was fun for the kids and kids at heart. As fun as the vacation was, we have decided that when we plan our Disneyland trip (in 3 years)we are not driving with the kids. It is well worth the price of the plane ticket.

Baby animal days and Easter

Sorry I haven't been blogging as much lately. I've been back to work and find that my nights off are spent with the laundry rather than my computer. We had so much fun at baby animal days this past weekend. Megan's favorite attraction, the pony rides. Megan had the choice of either riding the ponies or seeing the baby bears, Wes said he would only stand in one line. At the front of the pony ride line Megan saw that one pony had a PURPLE saddle blanket, (purple is the new pink at our house).
Fortunatley Megan got to ride that pony.

Sarah's 3 month pictures

Here are Sarah's 3 month photos. She is such a cutie, if you ask me, Wes on the other hand is still dealing with a terrible mama's girl. When I was pregnant I just wanted someone to like me best, well now that it's here, I think I should have been more careful for what I wished for. We took Sarah on her first famiy vacation last weekend. We went to Moab, and went jeeping. (thank you to Wolfords for such a fun company party.) Both girls do so well especially since we were in the cars for seven hours friday, saturday and sunday. I will post pics of the trip later.
